Garden State Diner - Newark Airport

On our way out of town, we were early for fear of the security line plus it's outside of the city.  Since we were during the time that's too late for breakfast but too early for lunch.  Mom opted for breakfast and I opted for lunch.
As far as airport food goes, the Garden State Diner is pretty close to a real dive diner that you'd expected to see.  The decor match the music, match the food you get.  You know, good o' greasy spoon that serve good o' Americana on a plate.  Ok, quesadillas isn't exactly Americana, but I can't eat a burger at 11 in the morning.

Surprisingly the salsa was good and the chicken wasn't as dry as I'd thought it'd be.  So, I will definitely say that is a plus.  The downside was that given it's a quesadilla, I'm expecting some cheese.  They were a little skimpy on the cheese, and that was kinda disappointing.  Mom's eggs benedict were hard to cut into.  Then we reminded ourselves, this is airport food, better than airplane food, which are none existence.  Oh well.
