So we went to Katie Sushi Ginza Onodera.
It's essentially an up scale conveyor belt delivery sushi. Don't get me wrong, they don't have the conveyor belt going around like some of the places do. Where they pre-made a set of dishes and you grab it off the belt.
This one, you actually order form an iPad and the dishes are made to order, and then it'll flash a message to you to expect the dish's arrival.
Got the Otoro Tuna - they already put the soy sauce on there, so don't embarrass yourself by adding more.
We got salmon, tuna, made.
Seared Salmon
Forget what these were, but it was good.
Beef and scallop sushi
This is called Salmon Bomb, which has spicy mayo and tobiko. Definitely unique, but nice.
For dessert, I got the almond gelatin dessert.
I think overall, the sushi some are hits and some are misses. The service was good, we were there early, and the staff let us sat down even though the kitchen wasn't ready to serve. And getting our tea refilled very promptly.
Overall, this is a popular spot, but this is the only location of theirs that doesn't have reservation available. So it's first come, first serve. Service is good, and it is a neat experience.
