Went back to Makiin Thai.
The Red Naga mocktail - it has hibiscus tea, cherry syrup, honey, lemon, and the foam is egg white. It's actually pretty tasty and not too heavy or sugary.
My friend got the Phuket Dream, which has pandan, pineapple, with coconut water. As you know pandan and coconut is a great mix, so it came out very nice.
For savory, this is the Penang Dumpling. Definitely yummy to get. It has chicken as the filling and the cause is Penang Curry - one of my fav.
This is lemongrass chicken, it's minced chicken spiced with lemongrass, turmeric, Thai chili, garlic, kefir lime leaves, all mixed and wrapped around sugar cane. It falls right off and you dip the sauce, it's perfection.
Another favorite, Roti with 3 kinds of Curries. It has Penang Curry, Green Curry, and Massaman Curry. It was so good that we ran out of roti, and you can ask the server for more. Which, of course, it fills us up.
Beef Drunken Noodles - flat noodles and sliced beef with carrots, onion, peppers. It's really good, and as much as we want to eat it all, we have to save room for dessert.
We got the Zesty Mango Sticky Rice - the rice at the bottom it is nice a warm cooked in coconut milk. diced mango with coconut ice cream with butterfly pea color. It's all house-made. Very delicious and we dip it with the fruit gels.
For parking, you definitely can do valet. But you can also find parking on the streets. The streets on both sides have spots, also there's a few spots in the front of the building that you're welcome to park there. The parking garage said they have retail parking but it's also valet and that valet works better for residents than for diners. If you ended up doing valet, use the one at the front of the restaurant for convenience.
