Sushi King

Originally, we didn't intend to go to Sushi King...
but since our original spot had a 40 mins wait, decided to go across the street.

I got the agedashi tofu just for good measure.

Started with Tuna & Salmon.  The Tuna was a tad skimpy for the price we were paying, not to mention thin.  I will say the salmon was better, not only size but the quality as well.  Even if it's Happy Hour all day, every day, the skimpy of the fish made that not worth it.

This is the Hawaii Specialty Roll.

It's actually pretty good, it uses spring roll skin as opposed to nori (seaweed), there's also no rice.  I ordered this by accident, but happy that it turned out great.  It has tuna, escolar, crab stick, tamago (egg), avocado, cucumber, and masago.  There's eel sauce, mayo and sriracha.

It was filling and flavorful, definitely would get this again.

Then of course have to get Unagi for good measure.

Overall the trip was definitely not what they used to be.  They had 2 servers, 2 bussers, 4 sushi chefs and however many staff in the kitchen.  The owner guy was running around and taking our order.  Kinda wish I had ordered to-go so I can eat it at the comfort of my own home.
