Border Grill

Per request, we booked a table at Border Grill.
Situated in the back of the Mandalay Bay hotel.

Walk towards the shark reef, you'll have to get pass the restaurant to get there.

This is flavors of Mexico while in the casino.

Of course we have to start with chips and 3 salsas.  They have chipotle, tomatillo and arbol.  Arbol is a type of red chili pepper, so it does have a kick to it.

Started with a Paloma which has grapefruit soda & hibiscus, lime and Jefe tequila.

For sides, we got some plantain and street corn with our chips and salsa.

For my entree, I got the Grilled Skirt Steak.  It came with hand rolled tortilla and the steak has chimichurri sauce, which is my favorite. On the side you have the cucumber and tomato salad and also a small thing of mix greens.  The tortilla is so big that I split it into quarter, and put my meat and sauce with veggie and wrap it all up.  Pretty good.

We did have a reservation, but since it was raining, we tried to get a table indoors, and they were all spoken for, so we settled for the bar.  It does get loud and lots of foot traffic.  So you've been warned.
