Honey Pig

Been meaning to check out this KBBQ
But even when we got there before peak hours there was already a long waiting list to be seated.

Let's face it, my favorite part of Korean food is the banchan.  They have the fish cake slices, kimchi cable, pickled cucumber, shredded daikon.  They also brought a bowl of lettuce, it is seasoned, but it's also like the ones you've seen on Kdrama, where they use the lettuce to wrap the meat.  So make note of that.

Don't forgot to look down the floor, there's some cute drawings on various paths.

So they technically cook for you.  They just swipe the entire plate to the grill and spread it around for you.  It's kinda ok, since beef cooks fast and pork will take a while.  So they'll run to other tables and come back.

While we wait for our food to cook, we went for the Seafood pancake, love that sauce that it comes with.

It looks like a cooked mess, which it kinda is, but there's bean sprouts on the side, some kimchi, beef all in there.

For KBBQ that they cook for you, the pricing is higher than other places.  My palate is not so refined to say their cut and season is better than say Bori's.   But given their popularity, I see why people keep coming back.  You can feel like you're in Korea having a casual night of grilling.  The servers, as busy as they are, always come to your table to check on you and bring your food super fast.  There are alot of large group comes here for meals.  Try coming on a week night, might be less busy.
