Sammy's Beach Bar

On the way out got to the airport way early because it was an anticipated busy day at the airport.
Found a bar that serves breakfast - after all we are in Vegas.

I got the Plain Jane Breakfast Classic: 2 eggs (sunny side up), bacon, and breakfast potato.  Very no thrills, straight up good o' fashion breakfast.

What I do like, however, is the service.  Listen at 6am, no one is in the mood for anything.  But the server was kind, she knew that's the beginning of her shift and it's going to be a long day for one of the busiest travel days.  She took care of the mom with a kid with care, a guy sitting by himself, couple people belly up to the bar and me.  All in a very calm manner and good attitude.  I tipped her extra just for that.   Totally grateful for good service on a stressful travel day and one of the crazier airports in the country.

Burke in the Box - Vegas

On my way out of Vegas, it was 4am, but don't worry Bars are open at that hour in the airport.  Of course, if you want to get any last minute slot gamble in there, they are at the ready too.  Granted, at 4am, there are a lot of people at the airport trying to take the early flight out, so I thought I had a head start, turns out it was just the middle of the day.
Got an OJ with a splash of vodka.
I got breakfast, very simple: eggs, bacon, and hash brown.  The short order cook basically whip it all up in a jiff.  They have a lot of these small little bars all around the airports, so you can have a seat or grab a drink to go.

Pappadeaux - IAH

On my way out of town, and have some time to kill.  Figured might as well grab lunch.
I love going to Pappadeaux at the Airport.  It's located at Terminal E.
For a quick yummy lunch: I got Shirley Temple, Lobster Bisque, and Dirty Rice.  I love their lobster bisque has tons of lobster meat.  No one can match them yet.  The Dirty Rice has some spicy in there, but not too spicy that I can't handle.

The beauty of coming here, you get served quickly and you can dash out to your gate quickly.  I will say, almost any time I come here, they are packed.  But since they serve you so quick that it doesn't take very long to get a table.  No more than 15 mins wait that I've been.  Now, granted, you may not have 15 mins to spare sometimes, but the Pappa franchise has a Pappasito down at the food court, for a quick to-go.
