Milk & Cookies

Another stop at Milk & Cookies
This was a tad deceiving because it's beautiful out, a lot of the neighbors walked instead of drive.  So I thought there weren't a lot of people judging by the number of cars in the parking lot, but when in fact, lots of folks took advantage of the beautiful weather and walked over.

Hooray, you see this sign, you know you're near the ordering window.

Morning goodies... there are croissant, scones, danish, donuts...

Ok, here's really what all they have in the morning.

Yes, we come back in the afternoon too. I'm telling you, living close by is not doing my waistline any favors.  Don't worry, I did not have the lemonade and the ice cream at the same time.

The ice cream is chocolate flavor but it's made with coconut milk so there's no dairy in it, in case there's any allergies.  It taste just as rich, the texture is a tad lighter than ice cream made with milk but there's no shy of flavors.

The lemonade is the mint lemonade.  It's nice and refreshing when the sun is shining straight down at ya.  I usually grab this and take the kiddo to the playground nearby and hang for a bit.  Totally worth it!
