Bishop's Cider / Cidercade

I'm not much of a drinker to begin with, but if I do is usually light bodied.
It was cool to have found Bishop.  They are operating out of Cidercade, which is a place that makes cider and also an arcade.  We originally came up here to play because they open early and $10 a head for all you can play arcade.  They have old school arcade games on one side like old school Pac Man, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter (even machines from Japan), Kong, Dig Dug.  New sides has the motorcycle riding ones, Batman driving game, and more.  No need to mess with coins, tickets, and dumb prizes that cost less than 50cents to get, but would need lots of tickets for (also known as the Chuck E. Cheese economics).  Anyway, my kid has fun, so much fun that didn't want to leave.

As you walk in, the bartender/cashiers get you in there.  You can have flights of 5 pours for $16.  Regular Cider are around $6-$8.  They also have hard seltzer and hard kombucha too.  I also grabbed a mix box of 6 to go.  It's interesting because it's not flavors that I see often amongst ciders in town.  Well, first off, there's not many places that serves a variety of cider.  The most do the basic Ace, but a bit more diversified is Austin Eastcider.  Now, Houston has one in our own downtown.

The area has been revitalized, there are a lot of art around it.  More importantly, they have a huge parking lot.  Since they don't serve food, you can BYO or they also have food truck scheduled.  No worries, there's a Wings place and a Pizza place nearby.
