Finally get to go brunch...
So good to hang with friends.
We decided to try the Jam & Toast brunch that they promoted. If not, during brunch, you can get a couple kinds of burgers and several kinds of salads. We ordered brunch.
The entire set arrive at the same time, which is kinda nice, that way we can pick and chooses as we wish.
First off, avocado toast, cheese and bread & crackers with a couple pieces of fruit. I will say, there were 2 types of cheese, the soft cheese has lemon flavor to it, has a little kick to it.
The avocado toast was tiny and cute. The bread was toasted at the bottom, but in terms of taste it only has the toast taste, couldn't taste the avocado.
Egg quiche (but they call it country baked eggs) with a side of greens. The greens are fresh, the lemon dressing was light and refreshing. Goes super well with the eggs or with sausage.
There are 2 slices of bacon, 2 links of chorizo-flavored sausage, and French Toast with vanilla flavor. All of the items on here were super delicious.
Nashville style Hot Fried Chicken - I like that the batter is not too thick, and the spices aren't too spicy for me. It also has a few pieces of fried pickles, which are zingy. Sitting on top of cheddar grits with a side of polenta cakes. After the chicken, I skipped the others so I can make room for...
... doughnuts that came with the set. They came us a chocolate and a blueberry cake donuts. I love cake donuts. It cannot go wrong on that one.
We got there a few minutes before Noon, and were seated right away. By then, the indoor seating was about 75% filled, now granted, there were a lot of large parties by the door, so it looked fuller. There are seatings on the other side of the stage. We were at the side small patio, and it was hot as heck, but bearable. By the time we got up to leave, the waiting room was packed and folks were waiting out front. Morale of the story, get there right before the peak time even by 10 mins will get you a seat.
