As you know, wherever we go, we need to find the perfect shot.
in Kyoto, this is one of the more iconic shots.
As we started from the hotel, we walked past this little alley space, and there's an air-streamer tucked away.
I ventured out and ordered something that local would order....
That's a matcha latte with an added shot. Which the guy did manually mix up the matcha, then pour over my milk, and then add a shot on top.
I think that's really in the skill and art of making it. I've do enjoy having the coffee though. Since Arabica Coffee is not opened early in the morning. And we had wanted to capture a shot of the iconic street with as little people as possible.
Which street, you asked? It's the Ninenzaka street.
This is as best as I can get in. There was already 2 tour groups coming behind us. It's true what a lot of influencers say about capturing this street, you almost have to get here between 6-6:30a to get no one here. We were here around 8am, and groups started to pull up.
Kefu Coffee Stand turns out to actually be part of the Kefu Stay hotel, which is a boutique hotel who pride themselves for minimalism. But this is a cool little coffee alley to check out, before the crowd gets there.
