Komeda Coffee

The whole purpose of going to Japan during this time it's to check off one of the items of my bucket list:

To see Cherry Blossom in Japan proper.  Luckily, the last days the flowers came out.

Actually in the Shinjuku Gyeon, they have a very unique flowers in habitat.

Of course, beautiful roses are planted too.

Across from the park we found a coffee shop, which we needed for a break.

I got an iced coffee with whipped cream.  It's a different way to serve cream, but for iced coffee, it's pretty to look at and fun to stir.

We got the tiramisu pancakes. This is double layers.

When you cut it apart, the inside looks like layer of cakes in there, instead of the pancakes in the American traditional sense. It has condensed milk, whipped cream, and coffee powder as part of the tiramisu combo, with chocolate in the middle.  As much sugar as that sounded, it is not as sweet as it seemed.  Which is the weird thing about here, they are big on sweets, but nothing is super sweet and you don't feel super guilty for eating it.
