Asahi Sushi

We all have a quick and dirty place for your easy to grab dishes.

Went back to Asahi for some quick lunch.

Since it's a weekday lunch, checking out their lunch set.  Which came with either soup or salad.

I got their version of Chirashi.  It's pretty decent for lunch portion.  It has octopus, shrimp, mani, salmon, unagi, white fish, and yellow tail.  There's a bed of rice at the bottom, and not too much.  

In the past, for the price, the quality is about what you expect.  Nothing spectacular, but not un-fresh, and that's all you can really ask for.  This time for some reason, given everything in the dish is uncooked, it took extra long to prepare than anything else.  It's decent, not much can go wrong.  As usual, they are super generous on their sashimi portion.  For $17.95 lunch, it's pretty decent in terms of protein.

Parking in that shopping center is still an issue since the nearby places are pretty popular too, so watch the signs and pay attention to designated spots.
