For dinner, the girls and I went to Eataly.
If you're a NYer, this is nothing to you. But for the rest of us who are not near an Eataly store, it's a foodie's playground.
Not to mention, I'm told that there's a corner that has happy hour between 3-5p, so keep that in mind. But we were hungry, so picked pasta for a cool night.
We started out with bread basket & olive oil.
We got the Spinach salad, it has spinach, gorgonzola with walnuts with balsamic vinaigrette as dressing. Pretty delicious.
When in Eataly... you get Italian soda, this is a blood orange soda. Pretty yummy.
Next we added burrata with spicy salami. Really popular with our group.
Next up, we got 3 pasta to share.
We have Ravioli with Butternut Squash, sage and hazelnuts. This one hits the spot, nice and warmth to the belly.
Bolognese, with housemate pasta and of course house made Ragu with beef and pork. This was my favorite pasta of all of the ones we ordered.
We got a Cacio e Pepe for good measure. My only complaint is that I could use more cheese on that.
This is a very much casual dining type place, great for friends and kids alike. So don't worry about if it's age appropriate or not. All the food here is kid-approved. They are also known for good toss of pizza too.
Of course, don't forget the rest of Eataly that has wine bar, market, and deli counter. So, truly have a little bit for everyone.
