Been meaning to try them, and lucky to have an opportunity to squeeze in there for dinner.
We got lucky to get a small little table by the door. Kids, let this be a lesson of planning head and make reservation. In our case, we happened to be in the area and stopped in.
Got the Aperol Spritz - which is orange aperitif, Prosecco and club soda. Nice and easy going cocktail there.
This is Lobster & Crab Mac n' Cheese. Yes please!!! I can eat this whole thing by myself... it was delicious and plenty meat to go around.
Then we have Oyster Rockefeller. There are breadcrumbs and cheese, of course oyster. I love this whole thing except I ate it too quickly and burnt the tip of my tongue.
We got the Wagyu Carpaccio. This is kinda interesting. First off, I don't do too many beef carpaccio, but they fried the mushrooms, caper, and sprouts. What's interesting is that they have a bit of coarser salt and mix with the crunchy mushroom with the beef, it gives it a nice combo of flavor. It's hard to describe and something you must try.
Then, we shared the lamb meatballs, it's not game-y, and the tzatziki sauce has a kick to it. It's kinda interesting. You want to have it with the sauce, but the sauce goes down spicy. Not a bad dish, just different.
Got the Pot de Creme, which has a layer of caramel on top with cream and butterscotch at the main. So, it helps if you grab a spoonful of all 3 flavors in one go.
I also got a cup of coffee to go with it. But it took them a very long time for that coffee, which was kinda weird. I will say, the tables are small, so food comes out in courses. Your server/sommelier is very knowledgeable about pairing and can help guide. Service is top notch, and no complaint there. But as I said earlier, do make a reservation, especially now that it's a tad cooler out. Don't get caught in the cold.
