Pepper Lunch

So glad that my friend introduced me to Pepper Lunch. 

Been meaning to go check that out, just needed an excuse.

They are super high tech.  They don't have a person take your order.  This is all done via touch screen and Square for payment.  It's all pretty self-serve on the front end.

Once you paid, you grab a seat and there are instructions everywhere.  Different type of dishes and how to finish cooking it.

Most meal comes with a soup and a drink.  It is miso with the tofu poof and veggie.

This is a Chicken Pepper Rice, it comes mostly cooked on the sizzling skillet.  

You're supposed to mix everything together.  It is surprisingly well seasoned, I didn't have to put anything on it to add to the flavor. 

 

Another one was the Classic Beef.  Again, you don't have too do much to the flavor, everything has already been seasoned.  And again, you have to stir everything together and let it finish cooking. 

The last one we shared was the Curry Beef.  They bring you the skillet and a side of curry sauce.  They pour it, you mix it.  I really liked the flavor on this one as well.  As a matter of fact, it's my favorite out of the ones I've tried.  It is so nicely done that there's no denying the popularity of the shop. 

I will say, from the moment you order, to sitting down, they dish is ready to come to the table.  As their 'schtick' they are mostly cooked and the remainder is for you to stir.  It doesn't take long.  Temperature is pretty on spot every time.  Definitely recommend.
