Aka Sushi House

We go back to Aka frequently.  They have great happy hour, aside from weekdays, they have all day happy hour all day Saturday and Sundays.

Also not to mention my favorite server there of all time.  Sitting at the sushi bar always helps with service.

This time I got the Nautilus roll.  It has crab mix, escolar, salmon, and honey wasabi is the white drizzle on top.  It's actually pretty good, I asked for no avocado, and that's the right choice because it doesn't need it.

And we got our usual of spicy salmon roll.  The only problem with the rolls here, are flimsy.  they get wrapped too loosely, so when you dip into your soy sauce, it came apart.  We found that consistently to be the issue.  So, big roll like the ones above are ok, little rolls - not so much.

Seriously, do come for Happy Hour, they have pork belly, teriyaki, sausages, and squid, that are done on the grill.  Very traditional and not to mention delicious.  Of course, drinks specials helps too.
