Seoul Garden

Gosh, haven't eaten Korean BBQ for a long time.  I would dare say it's been at least a year.
As a matter of fact, Seoul Garden is one of the first Korean restaurants I've ever been to back in the 90s when I first moved to Houston.  This was still a strong Korean area, but prior to H-Mart making a flagship down the street, and basically anything outside of the loop was a foreign country to me.  So, it was a nice welcome to have some yummy good food.
What I appreciate doing Korean BBQ is that you get to cook it, and their ventilation is so good that your clothes and hair don't stink after.  Which was not the case back in the old-en days.

My favorite part of Korean BBQ is the side dishes... LOVE them!  There are many pickled side veggie or tofu dishes.  There are also kimchi-ed tofu and fish cakes, and a few normal veggie side dish.  DELISH!
These don't look like much, but this is bulgogi beef, and grilled chicken... before they're on the grill.

Obviously this is a cook it yourself kinda digs.  You get the side dishes and a bowl of soup and a bowl of rice.  You get the heat in front of you and you cook and eat as you go.  Their menu is vast, but as you can see, each dish come in this size of plate, which is actually a lot of meat.  Between 2 grown-ups, we can barely finish.

The service is always attentive, and it always comes with a dessert which in Korean culture is either the Barley Tea or slices of fruit.  In this visit we got fruit, which is a nice end to the meal.
