Medusa

In visiting my dad's friends in Sydney, they decided to take us to have some Greek food.  I'm totally game for anything, as long as it's recommended by locals.
We started with the Mezza Plate, which is the appetizer platter.  It has dolmas (grape leaf wrapped rice), country sausage, hallomi (which is grilled cheese), olives, and 2 dips to go with pita breads.
Yummy kalamari, not too chewy and not deep fried but grilled in aioli oil.

Traditional Mousaka, which is like a Greek version of lasagna.  It has eggplant on top, potato, and a layer of minced lamb at the bottom with tomato sauce.

Lamb shoulder which is hit with the crowd.  Very juicy and not at all gamey.

As you know, Australia has great access to good lamb being right by New Zealand and they themselves has a good supply of them locally, almost every restaurant has lamb to offer.
