Ramen Tatsu-ya

For this Polar Vortex, it's great to grab some yummy noodles to warm the belly.
I've never been here when it is lit up like this...
The Neko looked mad.  Not the scary one with the flashlight under your face, it's more like he's mad. Why so mad, Neko?
Back to more relevant decor for ramen... great graffiti-like art.
Korokkaayyy - pronounced croquet.  It is potato based with some pork in there, and battered with panko and fried.  It is kinda blend by itself, so you dip the oyster sauce.  Not for everybody, but glad I tried it and know what it is now.
Got the Original, which has woodear mushroom, scallion, pork, egg, charsui and of course noodles.  The noodles is still not made in house.  In Winter, it may be ok but as you can imagine during humid months, it wouldn't be so good to transport or make.  That said, the broth is nice and have layers, I'd always appreciate the thicker base for winter months.  Definitely keep you warm.

Parking, it's not as bad as it was when they first opened.  But, it does get busy.  Parking in the neighborhood need to make sure to be respectful and read the signs.  They do have sections where it's no parking allowed.  Pay close attention.
