Been meaning to try the Bingsu type dessert in Chinatown for a while now.
Finally made it to Snowy Village.
In case you need a village for your reference.
Here are the sizes they come with: small (left), large (middle) and Bingsu Shot (which one order came with 3 different flavors). Great for those of us who cannot commit.
Which has lychee, strawberry, and tonic.
I love their new thing called Bingsu Shot, which is for $9.99, you get 3 mini's and they can all be different flavors. So, what do we have here? Chocolate, Mango, and Taro.
The Chocolate has chocolate ice cream on top, drizzled with chocolate sauce, the layer of shaved ice is sprinkled with chocolate powder and underneath the layer of ice, it has mini chunks of cakes.
The Mango one has whip cream, fresh mango chunks, condensed milk as drizzle, layer of silky shaved ice, and then underneath is another layer of mango.
Lastly, the Taro, has taro ice cream, shaved almond, and taro flavored powder on top of shaved ice.
The other thing they have is the Taiyaki. That is the Japanese fish shaped waffles. But their batter is nice and crispy and flakey. Compare to the traditional Japanese batter are just the plain o' waffle batter. This is nice a crispy, and I had asked for adzuki beans (aka Japanese red beans) as the filling. Nice and yummy.
