Lady M - Plaza Food Hall

For some dessert with my meal at the Plaza Food Hall...
It's Lady M of course.  While they've done Pop-Ups in Houston, and it's nice.  It's nothing nicer getting them in person, getting a variety of cakes to choose from, and nothing recently defrosted.
I got the MontBlanc.  The last time I had a MontBlanc that is done well was in Japan, and that's more than 8 years ago.
After the giant chestnut on top, you see the cream inside.  The cake is at the bottom.  As part of the 'mont' is chestnut cooked, mushed and piped into a mountain.  Totally yummy, not super heavy.  I highly recommend this cake if you want some sweet but nothing super sweet yet flavorful.
So, caddy corner from the Plaza Hotel is the Cube, the most unique Apple Store you can find.  Actually, my favorite is the one in Soho because it's inside a Post Office.  Either way, it is an architecture marvel and should be visited if not at least once.
The other thing that is unique to New York is all these hold Mosaic that announce the station.  They are so old but yet so telling of the artistic effort and thought into each and every one of them.  I think a lot of locals just don't even 'see' it anymore, but they are there, and I hope that the MTA makes every effort to keep them.
