Van Leeuwen - NYC

Happenstance that I walked passed an ice cream shop.
The new yet retro decor just drew me in.
They are really an artisan ice cream shop.  They even partnered up with Magnolia Bakery around the corner to make specialty ice cream for limited of time.  Cool thing, they also have special gluten free and vegan ice cream to offer on a regular basis.
So, what did I get?  It's Earl Grey with Pistachio and chocolate sauce on top.  Figure: go big or go home, why not!  The texture is consistent, the flavor is very clean, it comes thru what it needed to be. Not faint at all.
The ice cream place is literally next door to Radio City Hall where the Rockettes danced. They even have a cool tree that lights up and changes color too.
Right around the corner is Rockefeller Center, and you get to take in the view of the rink, the statue, the stores, the atmosphere.  All within the 2 blocks.  That's why I love New York City, as cliche as it sounds.
