Went to a meeting at Sweet Greens in Rice Village.
As I was trying hard to see the distinction between here and Salata, there's a lot of fanciness surrounding this place.
As you can see the bar is huge, that means lots of customization. For your base, there are 7 items you can choose from.
There's your standard veggie and other add-ins, for that they have over 21 add-ins to choose from and another 16 types of dressing to choose.
Over 15 kinds of proteins to boot.
They have a pick up area for folks to order and pay ahead via their site or their app, so all they have to do is to walk in and pick-up.
In the spirit of trying something different. I saw this Yayaya Yaupon & Lemon Tea. I can't really taste anything, including the lemon part of the tea. Definitely does not have any sugar in here.
For my entree, I got the Ratatouille Bowl. They have these pre-designed items that in case you don't want to use too many brain cells to create one, they have suggestions for you.
What's in here: chicken, pepper, eggplant, tomato, cabbage, carrot, feta, quinoa and spinach. Between the size, the amount of food, there's no reason you're still hungry after eating all of this. While some folks thinks it's eating rabbit food, it's actually pretty tasty.
Even the serving ware are all in recyclable materials. They pride themselves as local friendly and be sustainable. So, that is all pretty in-line. The size might be too big for men but I'd probably ask they do half and take half away next time.
