Rise No.2

Been dying to go to Rise, since I heard about their soft opening...
Finally got a chance to do it with a friend, totally worth it.
In here, is the famous Marshmallow Soup...
Was super curious about the soup, so have to get it.  There's no real marshmallow in it, but the mini souffle puffs that looks like little chunks of marshmallow, therefore the name.
The base is tomato soup base, the souffle blocks are cheese based, and then they give you a little bit of pesto to go with the mix.  It was a very nice mix, especially when you eat all the cheese puffs first. Then, you dip the cheese stick with the rest of the soup, it was super delicious!  Highly recommend.
My friend and I shared 2 souffle and that's proven to be the best way to do it.  We got the Mushroom Souffle, super creamy like the mushroom soup (not the one from Campbell), but in souffle form.
The other is Seafood Souffle as per recommendation of our server.  That's one of their popular dish and he did not steer us wrong.  It was nice, rich but not with the fish smell, every other bite is full of seafood.

Now, I know, you must be thinking where is the sweet souffle?  I know, I know... but we were too full by the time we finished our souffle and our soup.  So, one does get over loaded with the richness of it all.  So, next time, will probably do soup, salad, then sweet.  Service is excellent there, and the savory souffle came out very quickly.  They do ask that you order the dessert as soon as you know, which is typical of any souffle.  You should really make a reservation, even though you think it's not busy and walk in.  You can, they do have a few bar tables that are to accommodate walk-ins, but call ahead is best.  You don't have to worry about parking, they're attached to the parking garage, and you can park near the door if there's spots available.
