Yia Yia Mary's

For Greek food in the Galleria area, we often default to Yia Yia Mary's.  It's not traditional by any means, but you get our fix, and it's not half bad.  Being part of the Pappas chain, this is the Greek version of their chain.
I got the Greek salad with beef & lamb gyro.  They gave you generous portion of meat and pita and lots of lettuce.  There were more meat than anything else.
Of course, I wanted to get a Dolmades, which was grape leaves wrapped lemon rice with pork currant. I can't taste the pork, but the rice is refreshing.  Of course, you dip that into the tzatziki sauce.

The food is good, not super where you crave to come back, it is up to the normal Pappas standard for sure.  The service is a bit touch and go, some days you get very good server, but if there's a lull, that can be touch and go on that.
